Event Highlight: Carlos Sotomayor X Mikkeller Nov 21

Powered by Nomfluence
Dear friend and talented chef Carlos Sotomayor is back in Shanghai for spell, and is cooking Peruvian food with a series of pop-ups all over town.
On Saturday, November 21, he'll be at Mikkeller (my go-to for tasty beers) for a Peruvian mash-up. Big plates of creamy rice with crispy pork belly, wagyu anticucho, shredded chicken hot pockets, and juicy beef baozi.

What's On The Menu

Arroz con Chancho
Crispy pork belly, garden vegetables and squash, creamy rice, ‘criolla’ salad, pickled red onions. If you know me well, you know about my love for crispy pork belly. And this one is dope.

Saltado Baozi
Iconic Chinese-Peruvian soy beef filling, East meets West ultimate snack. Juicy.

Beef Anticucho
UYYU wagyu chuck tender, panca pepper glaze, fried potatoes. 150 grams o' meat.

Wrap de Ají de Gallina
Shredded chicken hot pocket, gruyere, parmesan, black olives, flour tortilla. Sharing is caring on this one.
These are twists on Peruvian dishes. It's sharing style and portions are generous!
There's plenty to go around—starts at 12pm until sold out. Stop by for lunch or early dinner.
(I'll be running service and drinking said tasty beers. Come say hi!)
