Union Trading Company Collab With The Ritz Bar & Lounge

The Ritz Bar & Lounge at The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai is teaming up with The Union Trading Company for an extended collaboration, hosting the UTC team at The Hidden Bar from August 1.

Ranked in the World's 50 Best Bars, The Union Trading Company will essentially move into the Hidden Bar space for this collab, bringing in their full collection of bartending gear, including accessories, glassware, and even some décor from their bar on Hengshan Lu.

And you can bet they’ll bring their energy and enthusiasm with them—the UTC team is eager to start shaking and pouring drinks!

Award winning mixologist and UTC co-founder Yao Lu and his team have crafted 8 new cocktails for the occasion.

Cocktails start from ¥108 net, and include drinks Minty Grapes, Life on Pluto, World Famous Frozen Irish Coffee, Call Me Fancy, Baijiu Cocktail, Dirty Pepper Martini, 1870 Sazerac, and “Ritz At The Portman”, a drink created in tribute to The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai.

“Ritz At The Portman” draws inspiration from César Ritz, an influential hotelier and the founder of the famous Parisian hotel, whose name is synonymous with elegance and luxury. The drink is equal parts Remy Martin VSOP, Maraschino, and Triple Sec, a touch of fresh lemon juice, topped with sparkling wine, and garnished with an orange twist.
